I love winning the red slime battle, did a water change today, the cyano has been peeling off the back of my tank and fading leaving strips of cyano laying around etc. so I spent time sucking out as much of the dying crap as I could of course the tank looks like hell right now but my algae scrubber has a really nice green sheet growing on it now I'm going to give it a couple days then scrub the screen again. another month or three and the tank may be picture worthy. as you can see the back glass is pretty much clear of slime when it was a solid sheet before (cloudy yes I just did a water change and stirred up a ton of crap the screen at the moment as you can see there is still cyano on the fringes of the light, but the screen is starting to be dominated by green

I think I am going to add a second bulb to the algae screen too many sqare inches for the light to cover it all

My favorite is brs pokani dry rock. Its so easy to make caves and cool aqua scapes. I have a bunch of rock in a Rubbermaid. Been in there for almost a year! Lol I need to check up on it asap.

added a Labracinus cyclophthalmus to the tank, he's big enough that the damsels wont bother him. can't find my camera. wanted to post a pic with all the new rock work in.
