Our drafts are set up such that you will walk away about twice the value of coral then what you actually paid for. Many times it's even higher then that

Our drafts are set up such that you will walk away about twice the value of coral then what you actually paid for. Many times it's even higher then that I've added up my last draft picks a couple times and I think I was closer to triple what I paid. Just one pick going off "retail" price pretty much paid for my ticket and I got a 75$ ticket. Not to mention Greg always seems to cut nice big pieces when he knows the crews coming up! This is a piece I got from the first draft And another piece from this last one Sorry I will no longer high jack your thread!

Cleaned the scrubber screen for the first time mostly red algae some greener hint underneath, definitely need a more powerful light on this but its a start the first month or so the scrubbers never work optimally.

gotta say though this is definitely my easiest screen to remove and replace, I dont have to shut anything of or dick around for 5 minutes to get it out and back in. I just lift the screen wash it, then pull out the zip tie pins lay it in place then slide the pins back into the holes. I love it, it does create a lot of splashing though, going to be hard to keep the lights clean.

Have you thought about using a speader? Mine almost looks like a large comb. Kinda hard to see the "comb" but this is the first week on my scrubber.

I may re tweak the design at some point so it all feeds from the top down. I could dig out some of the sheet acrylic from the back room and build a box with a comb outlet or something like that. can you get a better pic of the comb for me?

Mine broke 2 days ago when I cleaned my scrubber. Super glue patched it up quickly though.

That's not quite what I imagined. I figured it would look more like the combs on and overflow box. which also gets me to thinking....

I changed the bulb on my scrubber today to a higher output 500k LED flood light, to see if that will increase growth rate that old PC bulb I had on there was tired. I also sucked the red slime off teh back and side walls getting just over a full cup of pure slime algae it came off in nice thick sheets ran it through a shrimp net to trap it all. rock on nutrient export. I do need to get more LR in the tank. a lot more

So I swung by work today and grabbed another small chunk of rock slowly getting there, and a purple lobster, I've never kept the purple lobster before in a reef, I don't know why but I havent. I'm really trying hard to make this tank different from any I have had before
