Yea if you plan to make your rock work permanent you should do it soon.
You don't have to though I wish I would have when I set up my tank but didn't. I have all kinds of diggers! Lol if you don't want to take everything out and epoxy it just make sure they fit together well. Give the rocks a little poke our something and make sure they don't webble wabble all over. Think of it as a puzzle.

Most of it is really secure there is egg crate on the bottom and I worked the rocks down so they are on it. I do want to get some putty epoxy for the ones stacked on top.

x2 on a controller. With a controller you can turn on/off heaters, turn on/off fans, sound an alarm, send a text ext. all based on the temp of the tank. Even the cheap ones do a lot.

Well skimmer came in and it just fits in the sump space I had not 1/2" to spare.

how wide is your first chamber? I'm looking for a skimmer and was thinking of getting one of these.

The chamber that the skimmer is in is 5" wide, I also have a corner chamber 3.5x3.5 where the overflow is entering the sump. So the space where the skimmer is, is about 6.5"x5".
now I just have to get it tuned properly. Right out of the box I was getting a really wet yellow skim. I've turned it down so hopefully that helps.
