Try adjusting the gurgle busters or increase your pump flow to get more volume in the overflow box itself. Better if you adjust the couplers on the gurgle busters a bit to allow flow to back up and fill the skimmer boxes a bit more. It's a fine balance between restricting flow and pushing flow to get everything perfectly quiet.

This is how I build mine, so the water enters the tube from under the water line, no falling water at all. Your welcome to stop by and check mine out in action if you want.  I make mine the same way:) just not as long...... those are really tall. I think some of my problem is they need to be taller, So the water doesn't have so far to fall. This is my revised set. They were 6 inches tall and I could never fully get them quiet. Now this set is 10 inches tall and the drain holes are the same height as the overflows baffles. Works so much better.
