Gotareef I was asking what the light you were talking about had for options. I think the original light your were offering was a great value at a great price, no complaints here.

not sure how a light is putting voltage in your tank.... but sending you a pm I didn't say it was going through my tank? I said it's going through my lights. 18:07 Apr 09,2014 Jason, I am sorry the stray voltage issue should be the workmanship error, they did not do good insulation, now all lights will test the voltage before packing,so there will be no such issue in the future As the white 3500k is warm white 6500k is pure white,14000k is cold white(a bit blue) Here's the massage from the manufacturer.

No they said they're still working on a solution to the problem with their engineer.

I am holding off purchasing a fixture until Cree comes out with their fully controllable, full spectrum diode. instead of this put a red here, a green here, a purple here B.S. A.K.A. Disco lol not going to happen! cree only makes white led... bridglux owns the phosphors to make the colored led so any company that says they have colored led are buying from bridglux (epistar is bridglux) cree is only the "best led" because it takes a little less power to run the led IMO- not worth double the price for saving a couple milliamps amount of power only on the white led. btw- home depot carries cree led I think a 15w bulb cost $25, I bought a 3200k and 6700k par38 bulbs there

I can't remember what site I was on but I just saw something about a new super chip that's run kinda simular to kessil lights 1 large chip with multiple diodes on it I think they were like 100 watts each? I know they'd others out there already but this was supposed to be "special" I guess? You could change the color spectrum and everything about the light change it from 6500k to 20,000k and anywhere in between. I'll have to try and find it again. Could just be hype though seems to happen a lot.

sounds like the luxeon led but again they get the phosphors from bridglux

Bridgelux holds patents the phosphor composition that they have developed and that they use. They sell the phosphor to other companies and other companies use the Bridgelux phosphors because it works. Engineering to manufacture and blend different phosphors to come out with the correct spectrum and temperature is costly. Cree in it's XT-E line manufactures a complete line of different Temperature and spectrum diodes that are currently used in a few high end fixtures.
