My.nem and fish took the worst hit, I think everything else will pull thru. Keeping a close eye on the temp set up while waiting for enough water to do s couple water changes. I have the nem in Lindseys tank with more flow and stable. He looks like shit but he's holding onto the rock so I think there's hope. He's gaping but when I left looked like he was starting to expand a bit. I'm very sad about all my clowns tho Sent from my SCH-I535 using ProBoards

Sorry to hear about the fish loss. Moving a reef can be pretty troublesome sometimes.

Right now, He's sideways on the rock, kinda holding by the rock with his mouth/face (and by his foot) that we put up to block a little current and he seems to be sticking to it a bit by his face...I know, im not good at explaining things LOL. I did get enough water into the 10 gal tonight but I cant reach the power head in the 40 to put into the tank. The duncans are SUPER happy! LOL

He still doesnt look great at all, but he's managing to move himself and blow up his foot. I just hope he stays where I can see him!

He did not fair so well...This am I woke up and he was desinagrating...He still had his foot attached but barley and his mouth was so big I couldnt really see any of his actual color and his moth was full of fluffy yucky stuff. I feel horrible...poor guy...we decided to flush him to stop him from infecting my tank and Jess's 10 gal full of coral and the 40 gal has nitrates between 40 and 80 so he would have died in there too. Def sucks! Today I was cleaning the skimmer box and a little water got spilled but went all over the electrical plugs...so I unplugged them and dried them and plugged them all into a new plug...but now of COARSE the skimmer isnt wanting to skim...It's making noise but wont bubble up. I gotta say, It's stressful having a tank...but having someone else's is even MORE stressful! I just want everything to stay alive. ALSO, she has a brittle star and he was almost DOA when he got here, but perked back up in my tank...NOW my fish started to nip away at him and his back is open...so i HAD to move him to the 40 in hopes the nitrates dont kill him and that there wont be any fish to pick at him. MAN! Just one thing after another! this was the rbta last night.... this was the RBTA this am.... And THIS is what my fish did to the brittle.... he's still alive and moving, but do you think he'll be ok?

Leave the star, there's a decent chance it will heal. That sucks about the rbta though.

Sorry to hear about the rbta. Don't have a lot of experience with tropical starfish, but if their anything like local stars they can have 2-3 legs chopped off and in a couple weeks be back to normal. If you need any extra RO water to help get the nitrates down in the 40 I can probably help out.
