Not much of an update but I just ordered a second ecotech RMS light mount bracket so that I could add a second XR30 radion gen 2 pro led over my tank. One light is just not enough for all the corals I have.

How do you tell if the corals are doing good or growing even ?

Doing good = open fluffy extended polyps, feeder tentacles and good color. Growing can be deceiving because some corals expand and contract greatly but generally an increase in polyps, number of branches and sometimes overall size are ways to tell they are growing.

Take pictures every month to compare. It's hard to notice at first without a reference pic. When your tanks booming you'll be like "how'd that get so BIG?"

Little update, the stock cadlights refugium light sucks for growing anything. It's really only good for use on a beta tank. Either way I upgraded to my original LED grow light with a new flex mount. So far so good.

Need to clean my glass and do a water change soon but here's an evening pic of my reef. 100% soft coral dominated now. Attachments:

Thanks it's a little messy looking at the moment though. I'm going to hav to start trimming some of my neptheas soon. Overall I love the tank but it's not quite as minimalistic as I had planned for.

Terrible pic but the amount of light is huge going from one radion set at 60% to two radions set at 40%. Attachments:

I have a colony that I bet would do great in your tank and wouldn't mind the occasional neglect lol I'm dying to make some room.
