seems like an expensive way to go... but keep us postred on how it works out If you have ANY kind of a cheaper solution or idea I'd be very happy to hear it?? That's why I started this thread really. I have the ok from the wife to spend a little cash and I want to make my system better in some way?? I'm still having some issues and haven't made much head way so far with conventional, Wc's, media change outs and cleaning all around, tank and sump? I feel like my doc could be the culprit and I want to try to more efficiently remove as much as possible for the long haul.

At 28-35 watts(couldn't confirm online) and 350gph the pump I'm running now is more powerful? I'd be willing to bet the sedra is a more reliable pump but Idk if I'd get that much more production?

the pump on the 302 cant even compete with the sedra,
the sedra pump is what makes asm skimmers what they are. I have the 5000 on a g3 but it would be way to much for the sca302 body the g3 is about 3x the size. I would compare the pump on the 302 to a pump on the mini-g skimmer a rio 300...

Help with my overflow, Always something...yesterday I took the hofer gurgle buster out and cleaned it and now I can't get it to quiet down? I tried all the normal stuff like move the pipe up and down to restrict or allow flow, moved the air line up and down but it's just not helping? Best I can get it right now is to send all the air down to the sump and stick the hose way under water. But that then causes big air bubbles and water splashing, plus I can't keep the hose in my filter sock holder because I can't get the hose to go down enough. I know cleaning it can make it louder but I don't EVER remember it being even half this loud.

Idk? The footprint looked smaller so I think so, but won't know for sure unless I try it out I know now why people always said the sca was a bubble Magnus copy. Then again I think people say the bubble Magnus is a swc copy so who knows! Lol I know it's quiet and seems like good quality. Can't give a solid review till it's broken in for awhile.

So I'm thinking about changing something rather big on my tank??? Lol I have a 75g with a rather bulky center brace that I hate. So I was wondering doors anyone have any input on switching it to a euro brace? I know it sounds kinda crazy but after looking at it I don't think it'd be that big a job? I have plenty of plexiglass but also contemplated using carbon fiber? A lot stronger and my wife is a custom composite carbon fiber technician. Haha say that 3 times fast. So I don't sound completely crazy here's why I want to do it. The lights I'm getting come in 2 sizes, full length and compacts now if I have the center brace I don't want the full version because I feel it will block to much light. But 2 compacts is $400+ more??? Either way I'd like to get a couple knowledgeable opinions on it. I don't need to hear it's crazy:) or a bad idea (I already know that) more looking for people that could give advice on how to get it done? And if it's IMPOSSIBLE? TY in advance.

Not sure about carbon fiber but glass is the most common way of euro bracing a tank. Difficult to do with a running system though.

Couldn't I just build they structure of it and lay it on the ridge where the glass tops go glue it and then cut out the center brace? I was thinking I could take out like 20g and then it should be strong enough
