Isn't Dr fosters and Smith's always free shipping over 75$? Idk if they carry this pump though? I only say that because I thought I remembered Dr f&s doing price match? Could be wrong though?

I dont think they carry them Jason, I havent seen them in thier catalogs or website. Hell, at 99 bucks shipped from big als plumbing in a backup pump might work as well. Im a ways away from water so all opinions are appreciated!

Nice tank! I should have mine in a week or so. Can you summarize what equipment you are using so far? I'd love to compare thoughts. fyi: I have decided to use: 2 72' Build My LED XB LED fixtures Apex (at least the wife wants one... too expensive I think) 2 wp-40's (I really love my mp10... can't justify so much money for 2 mp40's) Waveline DC10k gen2 return pump ATO Auto top off Reef Octopus 2000 or Life Reef skimmer (can't decide which) I hope you don't mind me throwing some of my plans in this thread to get some ideas from you and everyone else? I can start my own if you prefer?

Awesome, Your going with a 125 also right? I will be using an sca302 skimmer with a 40b sump, 3 chinese led fixtures, the ato and phosphate reactor will transfer from the 37g. I am undecided on a return pump and circulation pumps atm Im thinking maybe 2 wp25s on the ends and using the 2 hydor 750s that I already have on the back wall. I need to reinforce my floor, at almost a ton when said and done I dont want it ending up in the basement. I will be adding some 4x4s under the joists and also build a stand in the next couple weeks. I hope your build goes smooth, i know you must be excited.

Yes, I'm setting up a 125 as well... I was thinking of going to with a 40 breeder but am struggling with how to design the stand to fit the 18" width breeder underneath. A stand built with 2x4's will not allow enough room under the stand for a sump of that width.
I was looking at the sca302 as well; however, I can't stand the microbubbles that my 301 is putting out. I don't want to fiddle with it either to try to trap the bubbles.
The 4x4's are a good idea. I had an engineer friend take a look at where I am putting my tank to make sure I will be fine.... Everything will weigh about 1500lbs when done, it's a lot but not insane.
I'm transferring some equipment from my 29 as well... ATO, gfo reactor, temp controller if we don't end up getting an Apex.

Got a 40 breeder, painted back and sides black. Painted back of dt black. Recieved the Rio hyperflow26 return pump. Picked up some fittings from home depot today, they have a decent plumbing selection.

Be carefull with thoes ball valves they don't like the salt water, to tend to stick after alittle while, after 2 months I had to take mine off and replace it with a gate valve because I could only turn it with a wrench

Just keep it out of the water if possible. Gate valves are a better option anyways though.
