My old ones were just regular circulation pumps. I didn't have a wave maker before I got the wp-40 I've only got one extra right now and it's in the shop for repairs. Jason at easy probably has some used ones. Last time I was at easy they had a bunch of them they were fixing up. When he gets his tank he should ask

Im not sure on the return pump yet rondo, I was leaning towards a magdrive 18 but still looking at a couple more as well. The tank has no stand so I will take you up on that offer when we get a couple days off.

Rob, You should become a distributer with that many units sold, you might make a mint on ebay. I think I remember seeing 3 of them over your tank, the one lights 2' of my tank well so im thinking on a 6 foot 3 would do well. The new tank will be 3 inches deeper but I may go with sand vs bare which is what I run now. Im also going to include 4x 24w ATI t5 into the hood because I just like the light they put off. This should give me about 3.65 watts per gal. Jason, The girl at Bangor petco told me yesterday that she was pretty sure the dollar a gallon sale starts the 30th of this month, I do love those 40 breeders. 3 lights work on a 6' tank, but if my 180 was a sps tank I would turn the lights sideways and use 4 of them. the lights are something like 9 1/2"x 17" my tank is 24"x24" but on a 125g or 150g its not an issue they are only 18" wide I was actually thinking of adding a 6' vho t12 because they have the best color for lights also if your led has optics you dont have to worry about depth of the tank, I run my lights at less than 1/2 power on a 24" deep tank

Skip the MP40's..........too much money and too loud. Get 2 Jebao WP40's for the flow. Opinions, opinions... Go w/ Ecotech. They last forever, have minimal heat transfer to the tank (something you'll thank me for in the summer), and are beautiful to (not) see in your tank. That is, the motor unit is outside the tank and cords stay outside the tank with only the low-profile prop inside. I believe they are significantly more flexible when it comes to programming/flow patterns. Oh yeah, they can also be controlled by Radion lights (if you've got those) to create day/night surge cycles. forever? how many times have you replaced the bushings? or the wet side everyone I have talked to says after 1-1 1/2 years you need to spend about $80 to replace parts... also these sit flat on the glass you cant angle them to direct flow.... wp pumps dont need to hook to a light they have a sensor on the controller to reduce flow when lights go out. not to mention they have 3 power settings with 8 flow settings feed mode.... and the power supply can be changed from 12v-24v adding more power settings.... I have used both and love my wp pumps my mp10 got sold in the first month I had it return pump danner pumps are loud, they rust and cost allot to run... imo- not a good pump look at the rio hyperdrive pumps I have a hd26 on my tank and love it

Ati t5 bulbs are my favorite as far as color! Hands down. So much so that when I upgrade my tank I'll be putting 2 ati t5 bulbs in my hood w/leds as well! I've thought about putting 2 bulbs on this tank but with my leds it might be just a little to much light.

I'll check into the rio pumps Rob thanks, I currently run a danner md and your right its a noisy little thing.
Jason, I knew as soon as I switched over to leds from the t5s that at some point they would go back over the dt. I need to find some end connectors as the ones I had are junk.
