stating facts isnt bashing. this isnt how I feel this is what is happening

the greensun lights made in the past 5-6 months have been having lots of problems due to faulty craftsmanship they wanted to get them out cheaper so used less than quality parts.
so far I have only herd of 3 lights from my orders that have had issues but my orders were from before 6 months ago... because of these issues they are no longer going to have the d120 they will have a gs120 that has a built in timer and remote but price is double

now we have gotten the fact that greensun has gone down hill in quality out there lets talk customer service it flat out sux now. I have to wait 2+days to get a response, when they do respond they are rude and try to get you to buy more or pay to upgrade... not good business

The newer gbgreensun lights are actually better quality over all imo(not that my opinion means much) if you look at my pictures they actually have the ballast screwed down with metal clamps and no more hot glue! The cases are better quality and the uv (purple) is supposedly not going to burn the lens like the old ones did. The fans are slightly louder but they also push double the air so I'm fine with that because they're still really quiet compared to some t5 and other older lights I've heard.
All that being said and I'm going to have to say I wouldn't recommended anyone buy lights from gbgreensun EVER there supervisor was very short with me the entire process she kept trying to get me to do a group order to get new lights!(to replace my broken ones that were still very much under warranty) I refused and said I wanted lights and most people know I got 2 slightly different lights buy oh well they work good and I got to keep the old ones to! When I asked about getting 2 different lights I got the rudest response I've ever gotten from a seller/distributor in my life and that's when I knew that even if gbgreensun sold the best leds in the world I would buy from them ever again!
Lastly I want to say that well I'm done with this company I still have had good successes with these lights and think they are good value fixtures for people that can't afford razors or others. Just DON'T buy them ever from GBGREENSUN! Imho

Jason all opinions are valued that is what makes a good forum. The lens issue was not only on the Violet but the Reds also and was fixed by the manufacturers changing the material the primary and secondary lenses were made from. They went from a Plastic lens to a Glass lens on the Chips.
