Could this be put onto a pre built led light? Typhon LED Controller Our Price: $54.99 Sale Price: $49.99 Typhon LED controller allows you to control 4 LED channels independently. Perfect for LED drivers that accepts either 5V or 10V PWM input controls, such as Meanwell LED Driver (10V input PWM) or Buckpuck LED Driver (5V input PWM). The common answer is no but I'm interested in hearing about the workaround that Foggman is working on. I did a ton of research on PWM vs Analog and never found a solution to integrate the two and the reason I built a fixture rather than buying.

Did you just turn cheap Chinese leds into "higher end" leds with a 30$ mod? Could you explain how it works in layman (dummy) terms? Or how to hook it up?

New lights came in today and I have to say they are very very similar to the d120's. They have the diodes spread out more witch is good and the fans seem to be stronger and a little louder? I do see subtle differences in the color of the diodes but that could just be me Idk? Either way gonna hook them up now and see how they work....I'm not expecting much changes and I highly doubt they changed any of the diodes I asked them to. Idk why I'm not just keeping them in the box and selling them? Guess curiosity is killing the cat! Haha

No the things in between the diodes? And 1 light came with foggy lens on reds and greens and the other didn't?

I don't fully understand it to be honest with you. If you read the description it states that it isn't required with the Typhoon but the Typhoon is only compatible with PWM drivers. It also states that it is compatible with all of "Steve's" Digital Drivers which are a custom driver built by them and do NOT include a power supply. The drivers in your fixture are a driver/power supply in one. I can't say if this will work or not.

Ok so my question is why does one look like a transistor and the other is just metal? Are they possibly upside down? One set is on the front where you can see them and on the other it's on the inside of the plate?
Sorry dumb auto correct! I fixed all the misspells

Not sure on that one

One is a resistor and the other is a SMT solder pad. PWM = pulse width modulation
PWM in a nutshell is a better more specific way to drive the LEDs to achieve their optimal performance. They run cooler, use less energy, and produce more PUR.

They run cooler, use less energy, and produce more PUR. So they have different drivers? So I won't be able to control one of them with the apex? Now I'm really confused and stressed out! I hate cheap Chinese leds! Haha no really I'm getting a better light fixture this is bull! I'm tired of this sh¡t

looks like 2 different lights or they forgot to put resistors in one
