I do see some slight improvements on three insides of the light but they ate minor and things that should of already been that way before.

You see the little tan board with the Red wire and white wires going to it, and there is a little green box and on the board near it is marked RS1, that is a resistor. That is the resistor that is governing the power to the LEDs. And I have to edit this because I am wrong the boards I commented about governs the power to the transformers not the LEDs, I spoke before I had seen the last pictures. I wouldn't dig too much further into the fixture but you are still not to the back side of the Printed circuit board. I would guess either they moved the resistors to the back side of the PCB or they eliminated them all together. Jason, yesterday you were dead on with the power consumption of the fans, they draw 1.2 watts each.

It was mostly a guess that I made because I had shopped around for different fans awhile back for my older t5 fixture.

Wonder if I should crack open the other one? I don't mind doing it for educational purposes. Lol

Do you have a picture of the back side of the board the LEDs are mounted to?

You're over thinking this. As stated by a few before me, resistors can be placed on either side of the board, at the beginning OR end of the circuit, and my guess is that they eliminated them altogether because they are not necessary. You only need one per string if wired correctly.

I'm not trying to over think it at all. but idk as much as you or others so when I get 2 lights in the same day and they look allot different then each other, I'm gonna ask some questions to try to figure out whats wrong? If anything....Also on this same light the power switch for the whites doesn't always work??? Is this something to worry about? loose connection maybe?

This is a post from the link. From Evergreen, Hi Ron, Let me be clear. Evergrow does not manufacture our lights. Not one of them. We sell Evergrow lights under the Evergrow name to keep the distinction clear. I have addressed this issue many times and I can make it simple: Look at the specifics of any light you like - read what people say on the forums about the company and their customer service - and perhaps call the company and get a feel for the people in charge. Then - just like anything else - buy what looks and feels right for you. And if it is Reef Radiance great - and if not - that is okay as well. Rick Ok, now I am confused. I sell Toyota's, Toyota doesn't manufacture our cars, not one of them, We sell Toyota's under the Toyota name to keep the distinction clear. I just needed to put this in a different context to have it make sense to me. lol. You can paint the egg shell any color you want but when you take the shell of it is still an egg.

Some of these guys must have been used car sales men. From reef radiance website OUR NEW OFFICE WILL NEAR SILICON VALLEY AND WE WILL BE SURROUNDED BY THE BEST AND BRIGHTEST HIGH-TECH MANUFACTURERS IN THE WORLD. THIS WILL ENABLE TO CONTINUE TO BUILD THE BEST AND MOST INNOVATIVE AQUARIUM LIGHTING PRODUCTS AVAILABLE.
No they are moving from Arkansas to California because Dublin is right near the California port of entry the ocean gateway from China to the US.
So I am guessing that reef radiance is making their own lights ?

I am glad I waited and havnt made an order from the last few batches of lights they made. I have only dealt with returning 3 of 40 lights but again there cs is lacking...... so I am switching to selling evergrow lights it is going to cost a little more and I will make a little less but I would rather sell a better product.
