I was looking at those. about 121$ for the kit. Just for fun I attached a clamp lamp with a black light cfl to the led fixture to see what the extra UV would do. Hard to tell visually since it just makes the bacteria in the water fluoresce. Also I'm looking for something to encrust the back wall like i'm doing with GSP on my other tank. If you could get my Atl rainbow Monti to encrust the whole back of your tank that would look so awesome.

Added a fresh GAC pillow along with a bag of purigen to the drip section of the filter. Also used a bottle of biospira to speed the cycle along. Ordered a WP10 for addition flow(should be here Monday).
Stock list is still up in the air. A pair of Maine Mocha clowns is pretty much a definite now. Just not sure what else to have.
Most likely a blenny of some type. Not sure about adding a goby at this point. Maybe a chromis........possum wrasse etc....
Thinking of a blackcap basslet or chalk bass but not sure if the bumble bee shrimp are safe with them.

Installed the wp10 this evening. I have to say I wasn't expecting much when I saw how small it was. It does however to a good job of kicking up detritus and moving water around, and dead silent on top of that. Now I just have to spend some time playing with the positioning and settings to see what works the best.

I didn't see that mode in the instructions I'll have take another read through. Should be right on your controller? It randomly switches from all modes and speeds.

Evicted the three blue legged hermits from my other tank to this one. They and the skunk cleaner, emerald crab, and lone astrea snail are chipping away at the diatoms.
I know it's a bit early to add corals since it's just through the initial cycle but I felt it necessary to try and save them. The birdsnest was on it's last legs do to harassment from the sexy shrimp. It looks like it might be recovering a bit(too soon to tell). Also moved the frag of sunburst palys over since the tube anemone was slowly killing it. I decided to move the frag of vdm over as well since to green rock flower had waltzed over it a couple of times trying to find a happy spot. So far everything is still alive.

Discovered a leak the other day in the return line from the wet/dry. The flex pipe had actually flexed so many times that the plastic had thinned at the creases to the point that water was weeping through many of them. I replaced the hose this evening. Pretty quick fix but I'm not sure why they changed the color from grey to bright blue?
diatoms are fading at least. I removed one trochus snail from my other tank to clean the vermetid snails that were growing on its shell. So I put it in this tank to help out instead of returning it.

Took a day to work on things and run errands, so I made a trip down to jasonandsarah for a couple of frags. Always good to see him and as always a great seller. The tanks is slowly maturing so here's an FTS
