Long story short 75 gallon in the basement is not gonna work when I have my back surgery in 3 weeks. Need to downsize bigtime to have it upstairs. The space that I have to use is 37 x 18. 2 options. First, at the moment I have everything crammed in the cube I was using as sump. It's dimensions are 20Lx18Wx28H. The only problem is that I don't have a stand for it and my search for one has been as of yet unsuccessful. I'd build one myself but I really don't have the time or strength right now. Option 2 is that she gave me permission to use credit card to buy a new system. But the problem with that is that I can't find anyone that sells a decent sized system to fit in that space. If I can find something under 30"L, I can go up to 24W. I'd prefer to use the cube I've got if I can find a stand. Anyone have any ideas? I HAVE to do this asap!!!!!!

if you give me to exact dimensions you need i can probably have have a basic stand made you by the end of the week, i am just not able to get it up to you, i am in naples. you would just need to pay me for the materials. or you can check with easy in gorham, they may have something as well. just let me know.

36X18 sounds like a 40g Breeder would fit perfectly. Petco sells the stands for under $50 and the tanks are $1 per gallon right now. So whole set up would be like $90

Or you could buy the 40 breeder stand and put a solid piece of wood on top and put the cube you already have on it. I have a 30 breeder on that exact stand with a piece of oak on the top of it.

I like the 40b but its too small. Gotta remember I'm putting all my stuff from a 75 in it. If need be I could do that. Any idea how long the special is?

like that idea, but the biggest issue of having 18" W is its gonna be a flush fit between wall and baseboard on right side

OK running out of time quick. Almost completely set up but have never had a drilled tank. How do I set up overflow? Used lfs suggestion to elbow into s larger sized pipe and drain down, but my living room now sounds like my lfs. What's the best way? Is it OK to set up as a completely closed system? Need to finish and transfer everything TOMORROW!!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!!!
