So I installed the pump as my drive pump, it was super quiet and appeared to be doing great. I came down to the fish room 3 hours later and nothing! The controller was just flashing at the highest bar. I unplugged it and started it up again, but nothing happens the controller just blinks at me. I googled it but cant find anything and it didn't come with a manual. Anyone else have or had one that can tell me how to reset it or if It's broke. If it's broke it will easily be the most expensive piece of equipment per hour....not a happy camper right now.

sounds like a bad controller. if you bought it new contact the company they will replace it quickly. if you got it used I think fish-street has replacement controllers
or just bring it back and buy 4-5 Jebao DC-6000

I sent a inquiry to the company, they replied promptly and requested a bunch of information. Hopefully they will send me a new controller. If it flashes in the middle it means its out of water if it flashing on the right it means high voltage like mine. It's apparently an error with the controller. Thanks for those resources Jason. I Know the 5000's had a lot of issues the 6000 is supposed to be better. Mine has two plugs on the bottom, no direct link for an apex. The Apex adaptor looks great but I'm running an apex jr that is a few generations old so I'm not sure if I could use it, I guess I need to do some more research, in the meantime I hope they send me a new controller. I'll be running this thing in a bucket for a week before I install it again. It's a pretty involved process to get my drive pumps in and out and having done it twice in two days it better work next time!

I got the new controller for my pump in today. Same issue as the old controller. This time the pump didn't even come on...immediate flashing. I'm wondering if its the power supply box. Really fed up with this $209.99 product that just doesn't work. Probably just going to keep my quiet one.

I use a universal on 2 out of 3 of my jebao pumps. Worth a try Just to see if that's the problem Sent from my SM-N910R4 using proboards

Lance runs these pumps without issue. While reef sitting I got to check these out and really liked. Them. I will probably see if I can bring my controllers over to tast on his supply and pump. If they work over there then its not the controller.

I have to say the company is really trying to make this right. Now they are sending me an entirely new pump body....we shall see if this fixes the problem.

So I received the new pump body today. I eagerly hooked it up to the new controller they sent and nothing, hooked up to the old controller and still nothing. This is downright discouraging. The only part they have not replaced is the power supply. So out of pumps 3 impellers, 2 controllers and 1 power supply nothing works I think its fair to assume this is the issue.

If you are using the same power supply thru all these tests, and nothing is working...............it's a bad power supply.

In order to save your self some time I'd go to radio shack or the like and pick up a power supply. You may even have an old lap top power supply that would fit... I'd still make them replace the power supply though Sent from my SM-N910R4 using proboards

you said the controller has power after the power supply...
I would just get your $$ back and buy a different pump
