So most recent update, the company stated that a 5 gallon bucket may not be large enough and that my pump is running in dry protect mode...this makes no sense as it's submerged and the bucket is nearly full. I was encouraged to try again in a larger contain. So today, I put both pumps in the 5 gallon bucket (I know I didn't follow directions because I believe the volume to be irrelevant but the depth to be important.) I rotated each pump under the water to get out any air bubbles and I let it set. I returned and rotated the pumps again, absolutely no air bubbles. Next I plugged it in, and the controller flashed. I had the container well lit from above and noticed that the pump was moving water with each flash, it was continuously turning itself on and off as the controller flashed. I next noticed the light on the power adapter to be flashing as well. So light on power adapter flashes, almost immediately the light on the controller flashes and almost immediately after that the pump turns on very briefly and the cycle repeats. If I unplug the pump the controller and power supply still blink, if I unplug the controller the power supply still blinks. So after all this I think the controller flashing was not telling me of an error but rather it is cycling on and off and this is just the default setting, it's not on long enough for me to change the setting. I sent my finding to the company to see what will happen next. Unfortunately Lance runs a different size pump so the power supply would be too large, and both our radio shacks are going out of business. Does my thoughts on this seem plausible to anyone that knows more about electricity than me? They had tested both the controller and pump prior to sending them to me. Yes I know this has been a headache and their are other options, I think the worse case scenario at this point is if they send me a new power supply I'll essentially have a back up for every piece that can fail except the power supply

Something is janky inside the power supply.

I can't believe they didn't send a new power supply right up front, but at least they are working with you to figure out what's wrong.

So after all this, no new power supply and they are no longer replying to my emails. I've been nothing but professional. So I guess a complaint to the better business bureau is in order, in addition to an all out social media blitz explaining my problem and strongly urging others to avoid all waveline products.
