Can't forget about the dollar per gallon sale on aquariums 55 gallons and smaller at most Petcos that happens every few months or so. Can't beat buying 40 breeders for $40 at Petco.

Ace Hardware sells 1 micron RO sediment prefilters in 2 packs for like $11. They are the same exact thing as the Overpriced Kent 1 micron sediment prefilters that cost over $12 for a single filter. They also have 5 micron RO carbon filters that I use with no problem at all. They cost like $12 per pair. This is just another way to show everyone that us hobbyists are smart enough to find cheaper prices for the same products!

Don't bother spending $2 or more dollars per foot of 1/2 thick walled vinyl tubing. www.Drsfostersmiths.com has 5ft-50ft precut lengths. For a 50ft length of clear 1/2 diameter thick wall vinyl tubing, it costs only $19.49, That works out to about $.38 cents per foot. These hoses aren't like the cheap stuff from Home Depot. This is the same exact tubing as the python hoses. I found this site via another forum. I'm looking at possibly upgrading my 30 and want the clean rimless zen look, an asside from some poorly assembled marine land tanks 20L's I havn't come accross anything in Maine this site ships and look at some of the dimensions especially on the coral tanks www.glasscages.com/?sAction=Homean 85gallon square 34x35x17....who does that not sound appealing too? |

I've never actually dealt with Glasscages.com but Ive read many mixed reviews on their tanks. Seems like a lot of people have had issues with the seems leaking and so on while others have had no issues. I guess it could happen with any tank though. I've thought about buying one of their tanks before, just never have. I think rimless tanks are by far the best looking as well.

Big splash tanks sale is on again at petco per Nano Reef Forum...was in yesterday at bangor and they had stacks of 40b's kicking around guess I know what I'm changing the 30xh out for.

Yeah, petco dollar per gallon sale going on till 9-22. I posted on nano lol. I just joined here today but I'm the aquatic specialist at Portland Petco. Also lots of sales on unique clowns and cleanup crew!
