I am sure this question has been asked a lot but I could not find any thing through the search. I want to know what a good skimmer would be for my 125 without breaking the bank. I was going to use my Tunze but I have been having a lot of trouble with it lately so I figure before I start out I should just get a new one.

You can email directly through the web site Scaquarium.com or go on eBay and message them eBay name (letsmakesomemoney) There 150$ shipped unless you email or message then and then you can normally get it cheaper. Also try to get them to upgrade to the large skimmer cup it's a must have imho. Out of the box cup is tiny.

It will work fine for a while and then it will just stop bubbling I play around with the adjustments and it starts working again. About a month ago I took it all apart and soaked it in vinegar and water over night then I ran brushes through all the ports I could find and have been having trouble ever since. I checked the directions twice and I did put it back together correctly but I must have messed some thing up. It is an older 902 before they changed it to the new style double chamber.

I just googled that skimmer, it is only rated for 52 gal, so I would definatly go with a larger one

I just got the SCA, just a heads up, if you email them directly they have a few "defects" laying around. The 301 was $75 shipped. And the 302 was a good price too
