0 on tap water (pre RO/DI) isn't to be expected, it sounds like you are questioning the accuracy of the TDS meter?

If you get zero going into the Ro/Di something is wrong. Coming out 0 is g00d

Unless you have really good water, but I would see if there is a calibration for the meter, if not than I would guess it is junk

Brs is normally pretty helpful with this stuff and the head manager is a big reefer so he's very understanding and knows what he's talking about... I ask for him personally whenever I call.

I called brs today and the guy told me that a reading of 0 tds coming into the meter is not unheard of, and thqt he regularly gets 1-2 on his inside which I thought was strange because ive heard that over 100 was common on the inline. I wouldnt think id have 0 tds tapwater here. I think im going to pick up a tds pen and check it that way.

On the brs 5 stage they measure tds pre and post DI and not the intake water. What model do you have.

I have the 4 stage plus. I was looking at it and thats where mine is being read from as well before and after the DI stage. I guess I was just expecting a larger reading before the DI stage. Thanks for the help.

That's a GOOD thing!!! Your Di resin should last you forever!!! Nothing wrong with that!
