Has anyone taken a week away from there tanks? I have a honeymoon soon and am going to be gone for a week. I am going to ask my father to come by and feed...Im going to move a 20gal AutoTopOff reservoir so if doesnt run out... question is without a chiller would my house load the heat and not alow the tank to run cool? Any thoughts?

I left my tank for a week and it was a nightmare. Seems like everything that could go.wrong went wrong. One of the pumps broke and I got red bugs. I was lucky in having a neighbor that has a saltwater tank but no one is going to care for your tank like you do.

Unless your babysitter is very farmilar with keeping a tank, your best bet would be to get some professionals that do vacation services in your area. Temperature wise, without a controller and a chiller, best to leave an AC running for that room. Otherwise it could become a big smelly mess real quick. best of luck to you!
