The ReefKeeper Controller I am buying soon is exactly for this reason, I hated losing my anenome due to a powerhead failure, and I don't want to lose anything else due to equipment failure. Check out the RKL, its only $119 I think, doesn't require too much effort to setup and will make an audible alarm if your tank goes above or below the recommended temp you set. Also it has a lot of other really cool features that are handy for lots of other things Glad to hear that (most) of your corals survived, they can truly be amazingly resilient going through an ordeal such as this.

I would get the (net) it sends your phone a message and you can go online and shut things off or turn things on so if your not home and on vacation no problem you can control the tank from your phone someone on the nh site is selling the rkE with net for $300 great deal!

I want net so bad... I mean the things you could do, freak out people who are feeding your fish while away, screw with the lights when others are around and touch the tank... the possibilities are endless. Of course there is a practical reason for it, but I would be way more interested in it for the 'entertainment value'.

APEX already comes internet ready, you pay a little more but if you are looking for internet compatible it is another option. I'm planning on purchasing one, but am really torn between ReefKeeper and Apex.
