What are you trying to accomplish with it, i.e. is there an issue you are trying to address? In many cases, you will be treating the symptoms and not the cause. At one point I thought I had either a nitrate or a phosphate problem that was causing nuisance algaes. Chemi-Pure had no impact.

Can't remember, it was years ago. But if you think you have an excess phosphate problem, wouldn't it be better to avoid having them in the tank in the first place, rather than having them and then trying to figure how to get them out?
