I'm also thinking about getting a small mantis I've had 5gallon set up for awhile would that be sufficient for a smaller mantis? I can't remember what easy had there's in but it was pretty small. I think it would be awesome for my kids to watch and learn about.something they're friends will want to come see. And they've always interested me and are beautiful. So it's a win... win.... win.....

It would be fine for the smaller hitchhiker type, but not for an adult peacock imo. That's why I'd rather have a baby peacock or a wild hitchhiker.

Yep, they weren't peacocks, just the drab Florida Mantis. I had a handful of pistols as well. I guess I won the lottery!
