So what's everyone keeping for cool or oddball inverts these days? I keep the following.
6 inch male arrow crab, wicked cool, non aggressive so far he likes catching chunks of salmon and scalop.
I keep a 12+ inch fancy knobby brittle star and a 12+ inch blood red brittle star.
I recently got two huge Babylonian nassarius snails from easy aquatics that are friggin sweet
I've even acclimated some local long claw hermit crabs to my reef that do quite well long term.
I've also have a healthy 8 inch heteractis crispa "blue tip sebea anemone" that I keep in my tank . So tell us what you've got!

I tried to put some of the local hermits in my tank and they started munching on my corals so I fed them to the chickens.... I did put a little crab of some sort that I found on the rocks in falmouth in my tank and and put him in my sump after I saw the hermits eating stuff, he keeps all the crudd that sinks to bottom of my sump cleand up so he will stay there for now

How are you keeping the crabs from plugging the return pump in the sump?

How are you keeping the crabs from plugging the return pump in the sump? I have baffles on my sump and the return section has a lot of flow so nothing settles, plus it's not a drilled sump so I use a submersible pump

Multiple types of snails, cerith, nassarius, one really big tiger conch and one bumblebee snail. Shrimp I have a peppermint and a pistol that makes things go boom in the night! 1 purple serpent star that is really cool. Everyone thinks he is weird. Couple of Hermit Crabs, I used to stock more but find them to be more stealers rather than scavengers. One Flower Anenome One BTA that I just bought that isn't doing very well. May need to supplement more light sooner rather than later. Tens of mini brittle stars that never come out, they came in on the live rock and I kinda like them.
Looking to get a fire shrimp, more nassarius and some linkia stars, I am fascinated by them but they are pretty difficult to keep for long periods of time.

Oh and how could I forget turbos, they get bigger and bigger and are able to knock over things all the time. They go straight for a coral knock it over and go to the next one. Its hopeless.

I have a pom pom crab an think it's one of the coolest inverts out there, however even in a 24 it's a great hider and I rarely see it ( I've always liked pistol shrimp as well. I've only seen pictures of a pederson shrimp and would probably get one if I ever saw one for sale.

I'm liking this little blue tuxedo urchin I picked up from Jason last weekend............but I suspect he may have munched on some zoanthids.

I keep two blue tuxedo urchins with a ton of zoanthids. If they aren't glued down they get picked up and moved by the urchins though.
