I recently got a nice piece of birdsnest from scoobnoob. After a couple days the base of the frag started turning white but the rest of it looks great polyps are open and everything. I was wondering if this could be it acclimating to my PC's where it was under higher intensity LED's before. I do vegetable gardening and it's normal to usually have some lower leaves die on plants after transplanting them outdoors from indoors, I didn't kno if this was kind of a similar process.

I know this will happen to acro's when the alk is too low and it's freshly cut but I've been growing out that piece for atleast a couple months. Mine is lighter at the base but only because the branches are blocking light. If it's just turning a few shades lighter I'd watch it, if there is flesh regression I'd follow Robs advice of cutting it ahead of the regression an gluing it. Let me know how it turns out for you.
