These were attached to a piece of hammer coral I got from DSC awhile back. They weren't looking good being so close to it so I cut them off with my Dremel and now they have been gaining some color the past couple of weeks, even tho there still not that appealing. Does anyone know which species they might be? Sorry for the bad quality imageshack.us/a/img819/289/img0149fop.jpg

I have a ton in my tank that came in as a hitch hiker and now I can't get rid of them. If all you have is that small colony, I'd pull it out and put it in a sealed plastic bag and toss. I wish I had done that when mine were more manageable.

If you want to keep these but want to control them, I've found Aiptasia-X works well. Just a little squirt in the oral disc...

OOooo good idea Lance, I suppose that kalkpaste should also work, correct? Probably. I like Ap-X a little better. Easier to control and no accidental pH spiking.
