So my nem has disappeared, and outside of tearing my tank down I have yet to see him in several days. If he got eaten by a powerhead surely my tank would show signs of it? Or no?

Was fine when I left Thursday came home Monday and gone. There's a couple places he could be hiding and will look later but didn't know if he was turned to nem mush if it would affect my tank. I would think so, since I don't run carbon or anything. Everything in my tank is happy. Maybe cause they all ate bta lol jk. I hope he's just well hidden

maybe try putting a piece of shrimp by where you think it might be hiding. if it is there it will puff up to eat the food

I tore half my tank apart, the whole left area which is where he was last seen, nothing. I don't think he's on the other side either. He was perfectly healthy when I left Tuesday, can't imagine him naturally dying between Thursday and Monday. I think the powerhead got him, tho why the chomped up bits didn't wreck havoc in my tank I don't understand. Not even cloudy water. And the one he would have gotten eaten by would have made decent sized chunks of him. Guess I'm chalking him up as a loss Sent from my SCH-I535 using ProBoards

It may be in the other side but I can see most of that side. He wasn't far from the power head which is why I wonder if it was that cause he was fine when I left. Sent from my SCH-I535 using ProBoards Attachments:

Sometimes they will go inside of a rock if there is a big enough hole, I've even had them go into overflows. Hopefully it will show itself soon.

I have had one move across an entire tank at night and bury itself in a small crevice, then when the powerhead mysteriously turned off he decided he was going to travel again, when I turned the powerhead back on and left the tank for a while he decided that he was going to unattach, not smart because a koralia 1050 is certainly more powerful than his outer "skin". I only noticed because my crabs and snails were all gathered in one place and had devoured a good chunk of him

That's the thing I've seen no chunks anywhere my hermits and snails haven't had interest in anything other than what I put in there. I hope he's hiding somewhere.
