So I made some changes in my plumbing. How soon Is it safe to run water through it. It wss slip fittings, so it was glued. Also, I need to repair a piece of cracked glass in my sump. Going to use another piece of glass and some silicone. What would be a safe curing time before I can fire my sump back up? Thanks.

I only ever wait as long as it takes for the glue to dry with pvc. Less than 20 minutes usually. With silicone it takes at least 24 hours to fully cure and depending on how much or how thick the silicone is, 48 hours may be better.
