almost any 2 part putty is good the first putty I used was "quick steal" the stuff I have now is for jewelry but works great for superglue gel lock tite is like $3 at walmart for 2 small tubes or sometimes you can find it at the dollar store but be careful with the cheap stuff it can separate in the tube and cover the frag with liquid superglue (wont do that again) the nippers I use are heavy duty toenail cutters from riteaid (I couldnt find bone cutters) this putty should be fine compare.ebay.com/like/251218165184?var=lv<yp=AllFixedPriceItemTypes&var=sbar

I buy the sticks of instant ocean epoxy from petsmart for like $6.99. Every other store sells them for $14 each. I also buy coral affix super glue gel from foster and smiths. Loctight gel is the same stuff but you pay more for the small amount you get.

Purple stuff was like $20 at Deep Sea. Even Denis said to buy something elsewhere...

I use the little Superglue Gel packs from the dollar store! They come 3 to a pack and you can usually fix one coral per little tube.... They are cheap!!! I like them so far! Make sure you use the Gel ones though!

Just Thought I'd add this. I was finally getting to build the new structure to support the heavy rocks in the center of my tank the other day but I ran into a small problem. The epoxy sticks were cold and super tough to try and mix. I decided to stick one in the microwave for 12 seconds and man what a difference it made. The entire stick was super soft and workable which made finishing the rest of my project a lot easier. Give it a try!

with any of these remember not to overwork the putty it will make the powder in it separate then you will have a cloudy tank the lac of oxygen can kill livestock
