So I'm looking to purchase a controller and would like to get recommendations on something that will be a high quality and last me a long time.

Yeah... i had that same problem trying to decide... I did my research and found the Neptune Apex to be the best. I have the apex now and have been using it for about a year and a half, and I have had no issues!!! This controller can seriously do anything!!!!!! I would recommend it to absolutely anyone!!!!!!!!!!! The possibilities are seriously endless! If you would like you are more than welcome to check it out. I live in Mechanic Falls which is probably a ways away from you... but you would be more than welcome!

love my reefkeeper lite and with the price you cant beat it.
but if I had the $$$$ I would go with the reefkeeper net

why would you need a controller?? kinda a newbe to all the gadgets that go along with the salt water tank...
i myself refuse to put a float valve, due to had issues while on vacation, so now i just top off the tank myself....
i dont know it just seems easier to me to do alot of the things myself and not worry about technology...that can always have problems..any suggestions or comments about controllers as again what they are used for

Rob, You can add the net module on to the lite system. We are doing it on campus with out RKL - Just make sure you update everything to the 2.0 firmware. Were running 2 PC4, SL2, NET - I can log into a web interface from home my office, or home, or wherever, and monitor / change params. Were thinking about doing the trade-in program for the RKE though. C the elite has many more options than the lite for example the lite can controle 16 outlets the elite can controle 200+ outlets............. the reason for a controller is light timers skimmer timers ozone timers heater controller wave controller.............................. so I dont have to worry about anything if something goes wrong it has alarms and shutoffs in place to stop something really bad from happening, with the net module anytime you want just turn your phone on and it will be your tank so when you are on vacation it will send u a message saying something is shut down then you can fix it from your phone or ........... |
