The outputs on a Skimmer right now I have them hooked to a 1" tube down to the water. My question is should they be out of the water? Some times I think having them in the water creates pressure in the pipes. Each one has a vent at the top. Im thinking I should change to a small elbow piece and just let the water fall into the tank. Another question about return pumps. Mine doesn't have a flow adjuster. If I added one the the line does it cause the pump any problems? My thoughts are the pump is running full speed and when you slow the water flow down it would also cause back pressure on the pump.
