I suppose you can but your fish will benefit more with mysis, krill, cyclopeeze, and other finely chopped seafoods like shrimp, scallops, salmon, clams and whatnot.

Frozen would be okay once in a while. Freeze-dried don't have much value.

Frozen is ok to use it once in awhile, or to get finicky fish to eat. ORA suggested using small bloodworms to get their mandarins to eat.
