Normally I would be excited to find $35 sitting on the floor...............but not when it takes the form of a Sixline Wrasse.

I used a plastic cup to hold the return line for my nano (they tend to pop out)...my sixline jumped right into the cup  ( I feel your pain sorry. BRS sells a screen top kit, I'm definately putting one on my 40, and I'm currently modifying the top for my Nano so I can get some more jumpers and keep them safe. |

Wow, major bummer times 2!! Bummer for the fish loss and bummer for having spent $35 on a sixline wrasse! That's crazy money for one. I bought mine from petco for $18

sorry to hear! last year I lost about $500 in fish to the floor (I need a cover)
I just picked up a cryptic 6 line (pink streaked wrasse) for $50

Most of petcos livestock comes from the same wholesales that many stores and online vendors use.

BRS= Bulk Reef Supply I wondered about a six-line wrasse too. I bought one a few months ago from PetCo. No problems except one day a couple of weeks ago. Was sitting in front of the tank running some water tests when I caught something out of the corner of my eye. My six-line had launched out of the tank... He is fine today. Bummer you lost yours. Many fish stores in this area get their fish from the same places. Every store has ick in their tanks at some point. |
