I bought a one spot foxface and I am not sure How much he should eat each day. he's about 3.5" long. He is currently eating Nori like a champ, but I don't know how to tell if I'm feeding enough, or too much.

I generally like to feed my fish until they have a slight bulge in their stomach area. Does your foxface graze through out the day and eat it all at once?

For one fish like that, I usually feed 1/4 - 1/3 of a sheet of nori seaweed per day.

With grazing fish, let them have as much macro algae or nori as they want, it's what they do. But when it comes to feeding time with pellets/frozen, only as much as they will eat within a few minutes, or as much as you feel like doing maintaince and fighting algae and nutrient issues.

You'll start to see a pattern of how much nori seaweed your fish will consume over the coarse of the day. I have two tangs and 1/3 of a sheet is all that gets eaten in 24 hours. If I put any more in there it gets waisted, starts rotting and can cause a nitrate spike just like any other food.

if grow some macro algae in the tank you wont have to worry about it. plus it will help clean the water be careful with rabbitfish IMO- their sting is worse than a lion! I had one that ended up killing my lion
