What took me so long?

Store is clean and bright, there's plenty of fishy things, but also birds and reptiles (maybe amphibians, but I didn't look). I overheard one of their people explaining cycling a tank while testing water; then explaining that their tank was no ready yet. Great education!

Then I got to the tanks. I was looking for something specific. I found it. Locally bred and beautiful! Galaxy rasboras. I'm still thrilled to find such healthy and gorgeous fish.

They've got a lot of local guppies that are fabulous. If I wanted to get back into livebearers, I'd start with these. Distinct lines, stunning colors.

It was an hour and a half drive and well worth it! I'll be back.
