Hey guys. So I finally jumped on board the aqua soil train. Tore apart my planted 55 the other night and put a thick layer of Fluval aqua soil under the sand in my tank. I definitely didn’t realize how messy that stuff is but overall I’m happy. Hopefully the plants will be as well. Attachments:

Wow! Tank looks great. How deep is the Aquasoil? What did you use for cosmetic sand on top?
I see an archer and a Cory cat.

Aquasoil is roughly 2 inches deep in the back. The top layer is just play sand from Lowe’s that I’ve had in there from the start. I have one clouded archer, 8 Cory cats, 10 costae tetras, 1 elephant nose, one spotted Raphael and one farewella sucker mouth cat.
