Hi folks,
I'm drowning in this monster build- a 500gal barn find acrylic that is taking over my dining room (we don't like people, so why have a space to feed them!)
I actually got IN the tank the other day, during setup. There is a whole lot more real estate in there to fill up than I remember. Does anyone have rocks, preferably arches, real/fake/manmade/dry that they'd like me to take off their hands for a price?
Thanks for considering it! Sue

I don’t have any personally but I will tell you, it’s not all that difficult to take a bunch of smaller rocks, drill holes through them and peg them together with pvc or acrylic rods to make big arches and such.

Would love to see pics of the tank. What are the dimensions? Welcome to the forum.

Pictures! Definitely have those! The dimensions are 10ft long, 40" wide and 30" deep. This is my dining room.... The WHOLE dining room! (Tank has a 20" clearance around 3 sides) ot sure why the portrait pics turn sideways... But here the side view from the living room. Like the TARDIS, it's so much BIGGER when you see it from inside (cleaning out the barn grime) I'm gonna need more coral.... MORE CORAL!!!!! Does it make me an optimist to say the tank is half full?? Well, it is!!! I'm on R2R where I have a monster build thread going. I got into how we braced the floor in the basement using PT 3x6 cross beams and only telephone poles.... How we've been gathering tanks from people downsizing, since May and have everything holding in a 220 and a 100, while this cycles.

Ryan, that may be the way I'll have to go. One of the tanks we bought was from a couple in NH with more money than knowledge. They had all the carib arches... I'm glad I have these, but need about 3x more. And now I'm pricing them OUCH I read up on DIYing it with sand and mortar, but don't have months for them to off gas the lye in the mortar. Hubby is all excited about drilling rocks, now.

I would put freshwater stingrays in that tank! Thanks for the pics.
