I’m looking for a professional to come out to my house and help troubleshoot and provide any recommendations.
I have been struggling with keeping acropora, the sticks just don’t grow. I have kept them successfully in the past but I can’t get this tank going. Lps and other sps grow well. I have a thriving Derasa clam too. The tank has been running for 1.5 years.
If you are a professional and keep acropora I’d really like to speak with you.
Of course I am willing to pay for your service.
Feel free to text if you are interested in the challenge.
Pm me and I’ll give you my contact information.
I’m in Biddeford

Test your water parameters to start.
Alkalinity Calcium Magnesium PH Specific gravity “salinity” Nitrate Phosphate
Get an idea where things are at. I’ve been growing acroporas for about two years now and try to keep my tank at
SG- 1.026 Temp-78 8.4-9dkh for alk 440-460 for calcium 1400 ish for magnesium 8.0-8.1 for ph but I’m trying to raise it to 8.4 Nitrate was in the 50 range last time I checked. Super high but corals are growing Phosphate was in the .20-.50 range as well.
Everything is checked with either Hanna checkers or red sea pro test kits and I use Ecotech radion pro xr30 lights on a modified AB+ spectrum at roughly 60% output.

If all else fails send out a water sample for an ICP test.
