Just wanted to give a big thanks to corals unlimited today for having some bulk activated carbon available to sell me. A tank emergency for a client involved a protein skimmer that kept overflowing all week which allowed the RODI float to stay open during this time and dropped the salinity in the tank down to 1.013. It looked like we were going to loose a bunch of snails and corals and carbon and water changes were my only options. So far 5 water changes later I’ve got the salinity back up to 1.019 and have more high salinity water mixing for tomorrow morning. Fingers crossed, the only definitive loss is a green nepthea. All fish are doing good as well.
