This might help www.triton-lab.de/en/showroom/icp-oes/155851I did speak with Randy Holmes-Farley on his R2R chemistry forum and thankfully he said nothing is dangerous, just the Si could be an issue if I have trouble with diatoms. Thankfully everything other than the manganese is filterable. I'm just confused on where it came from. Hard to believe it would make it through 7 stage RO/DI with a TDS reading of 0, so my guy says My coral Pro salt. I have decided to switch salts though, and go with HW-Marinemix Reefer, mostly because I don't need the high Alk.

I stopped using tropic marin because of the lead content..... ( after the seminar with tropic rep years ago ) Why not use regular IO salt and dose the extra elements specific tanks need?
That's what I do, because that's what every aquarium does...

I use regular I/O and dose. The reef crystals alk could be as high as 11, I try to keep mine mid 8's so every water change would throw things way off. The Liveaquaria salt is amazing at having good consistent levels and I was using that for over a year but at $80 a box and they stopped having sales I went back to I/O.

I am trying out HW-Marinemix Reefer salt for a bit. I just don't like the brown crud in my storage container that I had with Reef Crystals. Maybe I will end up wit I/O in the end
