Is the tank sitting on a sheet of Styrofoam? Yoga mat actually. I am gonna make black filler pieces so you won't see it. Did the tank makers suggest placing the tank on something? The age old debate: acrylic tank of Styrofoam (or yoga mat) vs solid base (like plywood). |

Don't believe its 100% required but they suggested it. |

The test says still .2 ammonia but idk if i believe it, my test kit expired. Im going away next week for vacation so probably will grab a new test when i get back and will do my water change and start dosing my microbacter clean to get through ugly phase. May start transfering fish then. |

Tank appeared to have 0 ammonia last night! When I get back from vacation I will do my water change and start the stocking process. My first gyre pump went in last night so I have some good flow now.

Picked up a ATI 48in Hybrid T5 light today frpm Corals Unlimited. Still haven't decided on bulbs. Also grabbed some astrea snails. Swung into petco to see what their shipments were today. They ended up selling me a Peacock mantis shrimp for $6 cause they couldn't get it out of the rock it was in and they even gave me 50% off the rock

I keep hearing and seeing yellow online are stupid$$ last one I saw forsake was at topsham they were asking $70 because someone surrendered it but they will order for $150....
The gem has been there would be 3 months on tuesday.... been in it's own system by itself for 5 weeks.... only fish I have seen at petco go threw full qt process and for the price I got it for I couldn't refuse
Dare I ask how many tickets you got from ultimate lol just wondering my competition 😜

Gem was still there when I went in. She tried to sell it to me for, I just couldn't do it. Mantis is coloring up nice. Has some reds and blues showing now.
