Alright so this will be my official build thread. Visited Thomas at Gaia Live today and began ironing out details. Have a rock order from BRS on the way, along with some Microbacter Start XLM and Microbacter Quickcycl. I will post pictures as I get them. Stay tuned, im very excited to be jumping into my first larger tank!

Got a box from BRS today! Added 50lbs of rock to my 20lbs of base rock I already had. Also picked up a bottle of MicroBacter Start XLM and some Quickcycl.   |

Technical drawing is in! This design allows for an external overflow and euro bracing to provide stability instead of needing a center brace.  |

Ordered heaters and a controller tonight. Decided to go with 2 Eheim Jager 200w heaters and an Inkbird dual probe wifi controller. Was originally going to use BRS titanium elements but it would double the cost to get their correct size heater and quadruple the cost if I did the redundant 70% heating solution like they recommend.

The Eheims are great. The controller is mainly just a back up incase one sticks on, cause I actually have had 2 do it before. One is now my heater I use for water changes.

Tank is coming together! They will be trimming up the lip and begin building the overflow this week. Sorry about the pic being sideways. Its fine on my phone but the website flips it.  |

Back of the tank has been painted and overflow has been drilled. They decided to switch up to a ghost style overflow which i like the looks of! Now they just gotta drill the return holes. Optimistic that the tank will be finished next week.  |
