Did you eliminate the DSB from your fuge too? I'm thinking about a bare bottom fuge on my build.

I did take out the DSB from my fuge but since I'm a bit of a lazy reefer when It comes to doing my own water changes I'm going to add back my remote deep sand bed in my fuge to help. It's the first time I've done my current setup and it definitely works but I'm going to replicate an older system I had that worked well for me.
