I have a 75 gallon, and have been running 2 kessil 360 tuna blues. I'm getting ready to upgrade both. Was just going to buy 2 of the new gen kessils I've had great results with kessils. But... been looking at the Radion g5 gr15. Price wise there close. Any suggestions on 2 radions or 2 kessils?

One way kessil wins is the cost of the mounting brackets for the radions are 103 each.

Ok,ok I think the radions win. The new kessils require the wifi dongle and a new controller. The older version doesnt work.

I like the kessils because of the strong shimmer effect. Some people don’t care for that much. You really can’t go wrong with either of them.

I chose Kessil because I loathe color separation... the disco effect or whatever you choose to call it. I haven’t seen the new Radions though, reports are it’s nice. Anecdotal reports are Radion grows coral better, but that’s an ongoing debate!

I think both are great lights. If your Sps dominant Radions, otherwise Kessils.

Yeah it's hard. I wish kessils atleast left a 0-10v port in so we chould just plug the new ones in to our setup. All in all the kessils will be a little more expensive but you cant beat that shimmer.

So got the kessils in yesterday. Ordered 2 with the klink cable and wifi dongle.
1st off the coverage is insane compared to the WEs, just a blanket over the tank.
Hooked up everything. One thing I noticed is that it doesnt matter which one is the master. Turn one off and the the other you can use as the master.
Hooked up the wifi dongle and downloaded the app. I had zero issues worked perfectly right from the start. It was very idiot proof and was very easy to setup. I'm so happy with this purchase.
