Bummer. Yeah, probably a lot of stress for the beta.
How are the half-beaks?

The two I have seem fine. One got a little feisty and damaged his beak but it should heal right up, especially with the round of meds they are getting. Petco was all sold out of them today, their shipments are delayed. However, they said they had ordered more.

Monte Carlo and Val. 1 half beak is great, one is weird. He eats good but is getting bullied by the betta, which is strange cause they were fine for a week. I went with the Monte Carlo instead of baby tears cause I have read it grows much better without CO2.

Bettas can be evil.
Wonder how Petco is doing at getting fish in, or any store for that matter.

Not able to. I called Petco and Petsmart in Augusta, Topsham, and Brunswick trying to find Cardinals. Nobody has them. Topsham told me only essential shipments were coming, such as food and litter.
