Coral shows in CT, NY and MA are extremely well attended and their clubs are so much more active. Maybe its that we have like 2 good fish stores in the whole state and how rural we are.

I agree. I feel that distance is a major barrier. Fluid farms was trying to organize a barbecue and hopefully that helps. Vijay

Yeah, it’s tough with how spread out everyone is. Summer is a slow time as well.

I think the windstorms that hit us in Oct of 17 took a lot of us out of the hobby. The fragswap at Cultivated shortly after only had like 5 attendees and some including myself were still recovering.

I think it’s a multi piece issue. We’re all very spread out plus it’s called vacation land for a reason. This time of year lots of people are spending more time doing outside activities rather than spending time indoors with reef tanks.
