So I just got a bubble tip anemone and put in in my tank last night. I put him at the top of the tank so he can get some good lighting but overnight he decided to go wandering and put himself in a completely shaded area. My question as I know bubble tip need a lot of light so should I move to myself I do you think I'll go where he needs to go? Thanks :-)

Leave it alone, it'll come out eventually. If it doesn't in a week, them move the rock, its very stressful for a nem to be removed from a rock. Honestly bta don't need as much light as other hosting nems, some prefer medium light and hide in a corner or towards the bottom of the tank.

He will go where he needs to be, just keep intakes and powerheads covered. Most times they will set their foot on the bottom side of a rock and extend out. Mine was stretched so far this morning it looked painful, I took a pic see if I can post it

Ditto, I'd leave him and just watch to make sure he doesn't walk into a powerhead or anything.

OMG! He's been floating EVERYWHERE today!!!! I keep having slight panic attacks because he gets too close to my condy and my LTA. I put him on a rock before i left and i shut the power heads off so he could move. When i came home he was in the same place I left him. I just got my LTA back from a friend who was watching him for me until I got better lighting and my clowns already took to him! As soon as i put him in the tank they were curious. I LOVE my aquarium! Theres really no better hobby!!!

Give him a week or so to settle down. If he gets to a spot that you like.... Feed him, it will encourage him to stay there. You'll want to feed him twice a week and his color will start coming back. They really don't like being moved and can take a little bit of time to calm down.

Shorter light cycles to acclimate them I hear help. Also rocks with deep holes or crevices are good so he can get his foot deep, mine like overhangs

Thanks Ladies. He SEEMS to have settled...for now LOL I found that since i put my LTA back in, they're using both. The BTA is on the other side of the tank where they normally are but the LTA is right where they sleep. I found the bigger one is being a tad bossy with the other, so while she's in the LTA, the little one goes to the BTA. So cute!
