Hello there,
I also have a LED light question. I have been thinking about switching over. I have been looking at the Vertex Illumina 's and the EcoTech Radion's, but I don't really know what the difference between them is and what the difference between the 2 models each of them have. I have a 75 gallon and was hoping for some options or advice on which would be better, or advice on if I should go with something different.

New light on last night like the way is slowly goes down to moon light, not just from white to blue to moon! So far the only bad thing is it makes the light on my 150 look like crap!! This could cost me!!!

Just my opinion and based solely on seeing photos of them over other peoples tanks. I really like the look of the 10k version but I think the 16k version makes all the colors look washed out. The built in mounting legs are cool but they look tippy. The way the wings AKA cooling fins on each side come out makes me think the entire unit looks upside down. I would definitely consider investing in two of the 120w 10k units for my tank but the over $800 price tag for two units is a bit unrealistic to consider spending. Can't wait to see some more pics.

I played with pennys and they look better in person than in pics. They are very slim!!! I like 10k look much better also but like you the price is scary she did say she has seen a dramatic decrease in her electric, which is a plus, and the fact you won't spend money on bulbs for years is also a plus, so really the cost versus savings works out pretty well in the long run. They are very nice lights tho!! Sent from my SCH-I535 using ProBoards
