So I like to support local places when buying all saltwater related items. Well I went to jays and he was out of salt. So I went to petco and reef crystals was what 80$ so for the first time I ordered salt online from Amazon. I ordered a bucket for 56$ with free shipping on Saturday afternoon. The salt showed up this morning. So 30$ cheaper and got here in 36 hours. Kinda can't go back now.

I agree. UPS dislikes me. I order about 6 200 gal boxes every 2 months.

Petco will price match stuff like salt if you show them a website proving the price difference.

Really? I thought it was just for there website. I understand you can't have a store and compete with online prices. Anyway I was just shocked it came so fast and 30$ is a big mark up.

Yeah, it’s crazy the price difference. I always order on amazon. Like you said, it’s kind of hard not to order it being $30 cheaper than petco and having free shipping
